At San Francisco State University, Samantha Griswold was required to take a fashion illustration course. Each assignment was a lesson for certain sections. The final project was to illustrate 3 fashion sketches into a fashion collection.

She was taught to use alcohol-based markers and colored pencils to create different textures.

Dream to Heaven

Her final project was to create a collection which she named Dream to Heaven. She started off with an art piece for her inspiration and saw little details in the artwork that became a collection.
